The 2024 irmaa surcharges will be calculated for most taxpayers using their 2022 magi (adjusted gross income plus municipal bond income). Your 2022 magi determines your irmaa in 2024.
Irmaa applies in 2024 if your modified adjusted gross income from 2022 is above these thresholds: Each year, the medicare part b premium, deductible, and coinsurance rates are determined according to provisions of the social security act.
